Ambassador of Maldives to China Dr. Fazeel Najeeb along with his delegation visited Fenghai Company for inspection and research

Dr. Fazeel Najeeb, ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to China, and his delegation visited Jiangsu Fenghai New Energy Seawater Desalination Development Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to the Company) for an in-depth investigation and research, accompanied by Jiang Dehong, the Company's board chairman, and Kong Qingyun, general manager on October 10.

Dr. Fazeel and his delegation first visited the Company's 10,000 m³/d new energy seawater desalination demonstration project exhibition hall, seawater desalination workshop, filling workshop and containerized new energy micro-grid seawater desalination equipment commissioning base. During the visit, they listened carefully to a report on the Company's new energy seawater desalination project granted by the Chinese government and international business expansion. Dr. Fazeel highly affirmed the Company's excellent new energy seawater desalination equipment technology and strong project execution capabilities, and warmly congratulated the Company on its remarkable achievements.

Afterwards, two sides held a symposium on important topics such as deepening cooperation in the field of new energy desalination. Jiang Dehong, board chairman of the Company, explained to Dr. Fazeel and his delegation the Company's mission and the significance of demonstration project, focusing on the core competitive advantages and advanced technical level of new energy micro-grids and desalination equipment. Jiang said that there is still a lot of room for cooperation between China and Maldives under the promotion of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Jiang hopes that the company can cooperate more dimensional and deeper cooperation with Maldives in the fields of new energy power generation, water treatment, environmental protection and other livelihood infrastructure, and contribute more to sustainable development of Maldives. Dr. Fazeel said that since President Muizzu's visit to China, China-Maldives relations have been upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership. The two countries have achieved fruitful results in the fields of jointly building the "Belt and Road", blue economy, green development, infrastructure and livelihood projects. Maldives market still has huge development potential.
