Fenghai Company Awarded "100 Typical Project Cases" in China’s Desalination Industry
The 2025 Qingdao International Water Conference was recently held at the China Railway Qingdao World Expo City. During the conference, the organizers recognized outstanding achievements in technological innovation and exemplary project cases from the past 20 years. Fenghai Company’s New Energy Seawater Desalination Project in the Maldives was selected as one of the “100 Typical Project Cases” and was included in the 20th Anniversary Collection on China’s Desalination Industry Development.

Since its inception in 2006, the Qingdao International Water Conference has grown into a globally influential platform for water industry exchange. The conference continuously promotes international technological dialogue and cooperation, and plays a key role in the research, development, and application of desalination, seawater treatment, and other field technologies. The evaluation was organized by Qingdao International Desalination Center, with experts conducting multiple rounds of rigorous review to systematically present the major achievements and innovative breakthroughs in China’s desalination industry over the past two decades.
