Tonga Delegation Visited Fenghai Company for Inspection and Exchange
On the afternoon of July 24, Mr. Moehau, President of the Tonga-China Friendship Association, led a delegation from the Kingdom of Tonga to visit Fenghai Company for inspection and exchange. Xu Weiguo, Deputy General Manager of Fenghai, Wu Kailong, Assistant to the General Manager, and responsible persons of the relevant departments of Dafeng Port Area accompanied the visit.
The delegation toured the Company’s 10,000m³/d new energy seawater desalination demonstration project showroom, desalination workshop, bottling workshop, and commissioning base for containerized new energy seawater desalination equipment, and were given a detailed introduction to the Company’s core business sectors, technological advantages, and market achievement both at home and abroad. During the visit, the delegation showed strong interest in the new energy seawater desalination equipment and highly praised its core technology level.
After the tour, the two sides held a discussion session focusing on specific needs. During the meeting, Mr. Moehau noted that Tonga, being surrounded by the ocean, mainly relies on rainwater harvesting and groundwater for domestic use, which makes it difficult to ensure stable and safe water supply. He expressed his hope that Fenghai’s new energy seawater desalination technology could help Tonga address its water scarcity and fundamentally change its traditional water usage model. Mr. Xu stated that this exchange built a bridge for cooperation between China and Tonga. He expressed Fenghai’s willingness to provide Tonga with stable and safe “water for life” through its advanced new energy desalination technology and services, enabling marine resources to benefit people’s livelihoods and opening a new chapter in China-Tonga friendship.
