Fenghai's BWRO project won the top 10 overseas moments_海露-江苏丰海新能源淡化海水发展有限公司

On January 4, 2024, "Top Ten Wonderful Moments of Central Enterprises Overseas" category of the state-owned enterprises' footprint survey conducted by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council for the year 2023 was officially released, and the public welfare project of brackish water desalination in Brazil undertaken by Fenghai company won the top ten wonderful moments of central enterprises overseas.

The public welfare project of brackish water desalination in Brazil was formally handed over to Brazilian Rio Grande do Norte government on February 16, 2023. The project can produce 80 tons of pure water per day, to solve the living water shortage problem of more than 3,000 residents in 3 local communities. Zhang Zhigang, General Manager of State Grid Corporation, attended and delivered a speech at the completion ceremony via video conference.

Established in 2013, Fenghai company is mainly engaged in four business segments of new energy micro-grid desalination equipment, water treatment equipment (reclaimed water recycling, sewage treatment, drinking water), power engineering and Ocean Aqua series of beverages. The company has always adhered to the practice of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality" strategy with practical actions. It has successfully developed microgrid energy storage technology, standalone wind power seawater desalination technology, and wind-solar-storage complementary containerized seawater desalination equipment, etc. It has fully promoted the source (new energy)-grid (microgrid)-load-storage seawater desalination system, and achieved on-site consumption of new energy. It has provided integrated solutions for coastal, island, and inland areas facing fresh water and electricity resources shortages. Currently, the new energy microgrid seawater desalination equipment has been widely applied in countries along the "Belt and Road" such as the Maldives, Oman, Brazil, Vietnam, as well as multiple islands in Sansha Hainan and Kaishan island in Lianyungang. It can provide clean drinking water to over 20,000 people every day, injecting "Fenghai Power" into the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind with concrete actions.

Since its establishment, the company has been recognized as a national-level high-tech enterprise, a national-level specialized and new "little giant" enterprise, and a provincial engineering technology research center. Its 10,000 m3/d new energy desalination equipment has been identified as "the first major equipment product in Jiangsu Province", and successfully produced the first bottle of desalinated seawater in China. In 2021, the company won the license of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and officially entered the United Nations global government procurement list.
