The complete sets of new-energy sea water desalination equipment enter the international market conforming to “The Belt and Road” initiative.
Recently H.E. Mr. SHI Heping, Executive Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress, Chairman of Jiangsu Promotion and Coordination Group for Wind-power and Desalination and Mr. Wang Rongping, Secretary of CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of Yancheng Municipal People’s Congress visited Middle East, East Africa, etc. to actively realize the nation’s “Belt and Road” initiative, focusing on the promotion of Fenghai’s new-energy sea water desalination equipment and speeding up its pace of “going out” through coordination and promotion. The act was supported and helped by Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Science and Technology. The Chinese ambassadors Mr. Li Huaxin, Sun Gongyi, Wang Fukang, etc. accompanied in relevant activities. Other attendees are relevant persons in charge of Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, etc.
Directly utilizing new energy for desalination through intelligent micro-grid is one of the frontier fields in the world’s strategic emerging industries. Under the care and attention of central leaders and the strong support of national ministries and commissions as well as provincial authorities, Jiangsu Fenghai New Energy Seawater Desalination Development Co., Ltd. which is located in Dafeng District of Yancheng Municipality self-developed the globally advanced complete system of containerized intelligent micro-grid sea water desalination. The system is independent of power grid by the direct use of clean energy, e.g. wind energy and solar energy for power generation. It further processes sea water into high-quality living or drinking water. The containerized equipment is especially suitable for coastal regions and islands, and hence it has broad prospects for development and good comprehensive benefits. At present, the equipment has been put into use in Sansha China, etc. The promotion of the equipment to “The Belt and Road” countries, e.g. Saudi Arabia, Oman, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, etc. is accelerated through commercial project and foreign aid project, etc.
In Mauritius, Prime Minister Hon. Pravind Kumar JUGNAUTH, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Public Utilities Mr. Ivan Leslie COLLENDAVELLOO, etc. met the delegation and spoke highly of “The Belt and Road” initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping. During the meeting, the new-energy sea water desalination equipment was fully affirmed and the Mauritius government was eager to have the equipment implemented in Mauritius by the Chinese government, benefiting the local people and making it a demonstration project of economic cooperation between the two countries to popularize and apply the equipment in African regions.
During their visit, the delegation held a deep talk with Saudi Prince Nayef and Prince Abduraham Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Governor of Saline Water Conversion Corporation Eng. Ali A. Al-Hazmi, Chairman of Saudi-China Business Council Engr. Abdulla S. Al-Mobty, Minister of Environment and Energy Thoriq, Mayor of Male’ Sifa, etc. respectively and signed cooperation agreement, which helped in developing market-oriented sales channels and reaching an agreement on the details of implementing the foreign aid project. Besides, the delegation also inspected the local projects of Huawei, China Jiangsu International Economic-Technical Cooperation Corporation, SINOMA, etc. and held a symposium with relevant oversea persons in charge of these companies.
